Under the Covenant and Under the Law are One and the Same!
At the precise 'historical moment' one is considering their eternal choice between holiness or unholiness, and the individual gulps ... then chooses holiness, the Gate Keeper opens the gate to the highway of holiness and the individual or Believer steps through, thus offering their life in this world in exchange for eternal life in the next.
At the precise 'historical moment' one is considering their eternal choice between holiness or unholiness, and the individual gulps ... then chooses unholiness, the Gate Keeper locks the gate to the highway of holiness as an unbeliever is born and turned away, thus preserving their life in this world in exchange for losing their life in the next.
Good works, as they are called, in sinners,
are nothing but splendid sins.
Romans 6:20-21, For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
Romans six is one multi-course dish on the biblical menu the worldly church will always cover with tasty spices. The word of God is the word of God and like it or not we must deal with it, here or in the hereafter. By Scripture, as long as sin (any sin) reigns within us we can do no good works! This is why the apostle Paul advised us strongly, in the twelfth verse of the same chapter, that we, let not sin (any sin) reign in our mortal body. Good works as they are called are absolutely not good when done by a man still servant to sin.
Isaiah 64:6, But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
The filthy rags of flesh houses only a man and until we come to a time and a place when the pure and holy righteousness of God replaces our fleshly unrighteousness we can do no good works, as they are called.
Romans 8:10, And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
This is clear, plain, and elementary. Not until the Spirit of God completely substitutes, 100% exchanges, fully replaces our filthy unrighteousness with the Fatherís just, good, and holy righteousness, all of our good works are simply splendid sins. Unless our flesh is crucified from the affections and lusts we were born into this world with the very works God predetermined for each will be missed.
And they that are Christís have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
This is why Jesus directed each to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. We are dead in works until we fulfill this 'first' directive, or commandment, or law of Christ. Until this one order is fulfilled we are totally and 100% non-productive, or we certainly better be!
But seek ye first (holiness) the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.
To preach, teach, or perform works in the name of Jesus before we receive the imputed righteousness of God, by faith in Jesus, is to build an eternal future upon our own filthy rags of unrighteousness.
If we fail to wait for the righteousness of God and start our own god business we will completely miss the predestined works and plan God holds for us. Now hereís the big one! If we operate without Godís righteousness we can do nothing but damage to fellow man. As we preach, teach, or distribute on our own unholy unrighteousness we will be daily turning up the eternal suffering and pain gauge God sets upon the disobedient.
Titus 1:16, They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Only One Commandment
Matthew 5:19, Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Funk & Wagnalls Standard College Dictionary, least, That which is smallest or most insignificant.
If breaking only one of the least commandments and teaching men so places a soul as the least in the kingdom of heaven, what penalty is left or what one conclusion remains for the just Judge to impose upon those who break only one commandment considered more than least, and teach others in their err? What is left for the just Judge to do over one commandment?
Romans 12:6-7, Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching.
let us wait
Worldly Church Refutes the Holy Laws of God
... but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
The unholy can only lead the unholy to hell!
Beware of Music!
If a man love me, he will keep my words:
It goes without saying Christian music is a big industry and countless song lyrics seldom concur with Scripture, therefore, we foolishly and mistakenly fall in love with these beautiful encouraging tender words of a man, as they silently and deceitfully become a part of our accepted wisdom, and to the bewilderment of all, Satan has beguiled yet another. On the other hand many feel close to heaven when they sing Scriptural inspired songs, such as, 'Marching to Zion,' though they rejected their cross or their call to holiness and are damned, they sing with great zeal, deceived by a man.
